This is a project that stretched my abilities to learn and apply knowledge. Over the course of 2 months I taught myself everything I could about power electronics to design and simulate a Single-Phase Grid Tied Solar Micro-Inverter. The simulation for this was done in Simulink and Plecs. I am a person that is very passionate about renewable energies, and in doing so wanted to challenge myself in a new discipline of engineering to learn more about my passions.
